We appreciate the support our citizens showed by voting FOR the bond on May 11. This bond will allow us to begin renovation and building projects in Lorena ISD to provide more adequate facilities to meet our students’ needs.

I want to personally thank each of you who played a role in the passage of this much needed bond. I appreciate the tireless hours you devoted to getting factual information out to the public so that they could make an informed decision. Your support of this project is recognized and appreciated. Whether you voted for or against the bond, we want to assure you that this money will be spent in a responsible and reasonable manner. The students of Lorena ISD are the beneficiaries of this vote. Thank you so much.

Summer is a time for students to relax and enjoy! However, it is important for them to keep their minds and bodies active. We encourage students to engage in activities such as reading, working puzzles, playing outside and interacting with friends. Lorena ISD offers several opportunities for students. Check our links below for additional information.

Welcome to Lorena ISD

Our mission is to ensure that students achieve their highest potential as responsible, self-reliant, and unique individuals through a system characterized by engaged and motivated students; passionate, dedicated staff; challenging and innovative learning opportunities; state-of-the-art facilities; involved parents and community members; and a safe environment that fosters mutual respect and cooperation.

We have a  “Tradition of Excellence”, and we work hard to make the website a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.
