Lorena ISD will honor our nation’s Veterans with events across the district on November 11, 2024.

Veteran Doug McGuire will be the guest speaker for the LHS and LMS events. McGuire served honorably for 19 years in the Navy. During his career, he was stationed in Long Beach, California, San Diego, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii. McGuire served on board the USS Kinkaid, ACU-1, Harbor Tugs, and USS Willamette. He also held the position of Company Commander at Recruit Training Command.  

Thank you to all of our Veterans, current military members, and their families for the sacrifices they have made for our country.
