The Lorena boys and girls track teams enjoyed success at the area track meet held in Fairfield. Emma Porter qualified for the Regional Meet in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, 200m Dash, and was a member of the 4x200 relay team that qualified for Regionals.

Addison Sykora won the 1600m Run and the 3200m Run at the Area Meet. Korah Ives finished third in the 300m Hurdles. Avery Heard was fourth in the 800m Run. Both earned spots in the Regional Meet and were also part of the 4x400 relay team that  is headed to Regionals. Madisyn Taylor’s second place finish in the High Jump sends her to the Regional Meet. Aybrie Boehme is also going to the Regional Meet after a third place finish in the Pole Vault.

On the boys side the 4X100 relay team of Grayson Collins, Brett Boiles, David Sanchez, and Kasen Taylor qualified for the Regional Meet. Taylor also qualified in the 100m Dash.

The Region III Meet will be held April 28-29 at Midway High School.
